Hello, Kathy! I hope this email finds you well and in good spirits.
Picture this: A nice, quiet place to eat great food; a room specifically designed to hold business meetings; free refills on your drinks; healthy food options; and friendly staff that are waiting to serve you (or leave you alone if you’re holding a business meeting and wish to remain undisturbed).
You know how you’ve been looking for a restaurant that’s perfect for holding meetings? I’ve found one and believe me when I say you’re going to love it! I’ve actually known about this place for a while now, and I can say that it’s my favorite place to eat, seriously!
I’m talking about Panera Bread. It’s on the opposite side of the road to the Speedway gas station on Rockville Road and Raceway Road, so you can’t miss it! Not only will we be able to hold business meetings there, but the ambience is also peaceful. I’ve been going there for a while now, and I’m always seeing people with notepads, laptops and the like on the tables (even in the main seating areas of the restaurant).
The décor is relaxing and pleasing to the eye. There are paintings on the walls of families gathered around dinner tables with smiles on their faces and food sitting before them, paintings of cooks using ovens—Kathy, I’m telling you, the environment is warm and friendly.
If that wasn’t pleasing enough, get this: there’s actually healthy food options at Panera Bread! I know you like your salads, so you’d probably love their Mediterranean Veggie on Tomato Basil. My favorite thing to eat is their Frontega sandwich on Tomato Basil bread. Yes, tomato basil is delicious! Plus, you can order whatever you want without any added sauces or cheeses, which will help reduce calorie intake. Don’t just take my word for it, either. Go on Yelp and see what people are saying about the place!
So now let’s get to one of the best things about the place. They have a room sectioned off that is specifically for holding business meetings. You need to reserve the room ahead of time, and once there the room is all yours! With doors that grant access to the room, it makes having meetings perfect because then there would be no distractions. How cool is that? There isn’t another restaurant here in town that serves good food and has a place where customers can hold meetings. You really have to try it, Kathy!
As a matter of fact, I’ll be going there for lunch on Friday. If you meet me there, I’ll buy you lunch, and we can discuss plans on moving forward with the humanitarian projects. There’s a lot I want to talk to you about and show you, and the meeting room we can reserve there would be perfect for it.

Lately I’ve been feeling some strange energy coming from the company's [name redacted] emails. It’s almost like the team is stuck in a fog leaving them stagnant.
The energy oracle readings, the Universe messages, and the morning meditations have not had the usual passion behind them that myself and others are used to seeing.
I’ve spoken with several people whom I know have been loyal customers of the company, and after seeing a decline in likes, reposts and replies on the company’s social media page, I know I’m not the only one who’s been feeling the shift in energy.
Maybe it had something to do with the energy of the winter solstice, maybe not. One thing is for certain, though; lately, myself and many others have been uncomfortable with the aura of your business.
I would like to help fix this issue, as I have been feeling the call to assist the organization and keep the company from losing business.
Let’s discuss this further. I know of a few ways I can help not only keep this company afloat but thrive and produce passionate, authentic and meaningful content once more.

This is an essay I wrote, one of many, but I chose this one to show the different kinds of things I write. Link: Change and Transition
Though I don't write much poetry nowadays, I was struck with inspiration for this one. I can use the style for certain parts of this piece to write messages for cards. The last word in the first line of the last stanza is Scottish Gaelic (a ghràidh, meaning "my love"), and I chose the Gaelic word instead of using English because the Gaelic word rhymes with the last word in the second line of the stanza.
